Envelope recorder

Post by verybigpotato »

Hello,

Is there something wrong with those commands? Why I got empty files?

(1) recorder EnvelopeElement -file ele0102forceenvelope.out -ele 1 2 globalForce

(2) recorder EnvelopeNode -file nodeall.out -node all -dof 1 2 3 disp

Thank you very much.

try putting in -time, it's a quirk that may or may not have been resolved.

.... I know it's not supposed to have it....

Thank you very much, silvia. It seems that -time option doesn't work either. Maybe, there is still some kind of bug in this part.

Dear Friends I am looking for description about performing static cyclic analysis in a manual. I couldn’t find enough description about this type of analysis. I would be grateful if anybody can help me to know more about that or if anybody has an example with better description compared with what can be found in the main site.
