Dear All,
I want to find the changes in axial forces and BM of columns in a plane frame due to differential settlement of soil arising due to consolidation settlement. I am using shallowfoundationGen command to input the soil properties, but i don't find any changes. There is a very little change in beam rotation. I have given shear modulus as input in terms of void ratio of soil, as in the mentioned command there is a provision of giving shear modulus as input. Otherwise, can anyone let me know what changes i need to see in order to find changes in columns.
