Realibity and sensitvity analysis example for layered soil column

Post by AnnaKowal »

Hi,

Does anyone have an example of reliability and sensitivity analysis for soil Site Response Analysis of a Layered Soil Column?

I am running a 2D analysis but will be more than grateful for any example?

Many thanks,
Anna

I doubt you'll find anything. Try searching online for items by Quan Gu and Joel Conte.

Thank you, Michael,

Sorry if it is a bit shortcut question.
Can I ask what would be your advice to assess the analysis uncertainty, stability of the model, sensitivity of the parameters for the 2D site analysis for a layered soil column (total stress, PIMY material)? I got this question for my PhD examination.

Does it require writing a code for reliability and sensitivity analysis from scratch? As you said it is difficult to find something online. But I believe the workflow is commonly used and validated, so thought it will not harm to ask...

Many thanks,
Anna

This is for your Ph.D. examination. You need to figure that out.
