Element compatibility in a model

Dear Dr. Silvia,

While modeling a 3D frame with panel zones, would there be compatibility issues when using displacement beam column elements for the main frame and truss elements for the panel zone?. I am facing issues in my modeling when using these two different elements.Could you give me some insight into this.
