How to consider Mx-My interaction in concentrated plastic h

Post by Hwoarang »

Hello

I have modeled a concentrated plastic hinge using the method which has introduced in report No.152, Ibarra and Krawinkler (2005).
But I don't know how to model or make Mx-My interaction in that model. So I need some help.

You can keep one of the moments constant (let's say Mx) and increase the moments in the other direction (My). You can get the interaction diagram by repeating this for different values of Mx

Hi everyone

I have the same problem!. Only two questions.
1) Now, after doing this (i.e. getting the interaction diagram), is the next step introducing them into the considered hysteresis behavior (such as modified Takeda) instead of the previous non-interaction diagrams (i.e. NEW Mx instead of Mx and NEW My instead of My)?

2) How much does My increase?
