Rayleigh damping coefficient

Post by giacomovincenzo »

Dear all,

I would like to have just a precisation about the stiffness proportional coefficientts of Rayleigh damping. Is the following true:

1. Kinit term: term proportional to initial stiffness
2. Kcurrent term: term proportional to tangent stiffness at a certain time step
3. KlastCommit term: term proportional to secantstiffness at a certain time step

Thanks!!!

Giacomo

first 2 are correct.

3. term prop to tangent stiff at last converged step.
