well, i want to catch the story shears of a 3d RC frame-shear structure in a time history analysis, and i record the 'globalForce' of the columns and beams and walls of each flood, and i sum the Px_1 of those elements up, and i consider it's the story shears of each flood. But it turns out that what i got is very different from the results that analysis through the ETABS.
Am i wrong to sum the 'globalForce' of all columns and beams and walls of each floor to get the story shear?? Then how can i catch the frame shear and wall shear respectively(cause i want to analysis the shearing force distribution)??
