Truss Recorder

What is the output of the following recorder for a truss remember?
Strain or Elongation?

recorder Element -file Rebar.txt -time -ele 2 deformations

It should be strain at the mid-section. If you change "-file" by "-xml", you will be able to see headers in the txt files showing what each column of the output file is.
