Fiber section

Post by Farid »

Hello,

I have to construct a line of fibers along a circular arc whose center is not matched to the section's center. Using $yCenter and $zCenter there is no problem. My question is about the start and end angles. Are they defined always with respect to the local y-axis (transferred y-axis of course)? I assume the answer is yes. My next question is about the direction. Is it counter-clockwise? or it follows the right-hand rule?

Thanks.

By definition, the cross product of y and z axes is always counterclockwise. So, right hand rule always lead to counterclockwise angle
