Deformation Recorder of a Zero Length Section element

Post by ebaf65 »

Hi,

Could any one help me know what is the output format of section deformation recorder in a zero length section element?

I know that in case of force beam-column element, its second and third columns are axial strain and curvature, respectively. However I do not know exactly what are the corresponding columns in zero length section elements. It worth noting that, I have defined stress-slip behavior for reinforcements and concrete of the mentioned zero length section element.

Thanks.

Could you quickly check which column is which.

1) By applying axial force only with zero moment.
2) By applying moment only in the elastic range with zero axial force (Cur=M/EI in this case).
