I have performed a pushover analysis and I am trying to record 4 node displacements. I am using displacement control. However, no matter how long the target displacement is, the recorder always stops some steps before. E.g., If I set the target displacement to 0.25 m the it will only record upp till 0.196 m. If I set the target displacement to 0.5 m it records only upp til 0.38 m. I dont have convergence issues and the time is set to zero prior the recording of the nodes. What could cause this?

are you recording the correct node? are you sure you are going out as far as you think (use "print node $nodeTag"), is the program exiting correctly ( add "remove recorders") at end of script to check this
