Bilin Material

Post by mch_basim »

Hi
I want to use Modified Ibarra-Medina-Krawinkler Deterioration Model for concentrated hinges in my steel frame model.
I am using parameters introduced by the provided reference database by http://dimitrios-lignos.research.mcgill.ca/databases/
and parameters are defined in the paper: Deterioration Modeling of Steel Components in Support of Collapse Prediction of Steel Moment Frames under Earthquake Loading
my question is that the lambda parameters in bilin command are the capital lambda in the above paper? or the small one?
and I should use a unique lambda parameter for the all four parameters if I want to use the database?

thanks in advance

from D.Lignos:

"Capital Lambda are the ones to be used and they are all the same."

Hello
Do we need modify Lambda parameter by equation (lambda*(n+1)) for concentrated plastic hinge frame?
