Error in covergence while doing pushover analysis

do stuff in the script to get past the problem point. have a look at the analysyis in his script:

Thank you very much

when I increase the load in the leaning column during nonlinear pushover analysis why does the base shear too increases? Shouldn't base shear be same whatever load we applied in the leaning column during pushover analysis?

you need to do a little research .. the lateral load applied is P*Delta/L .. so the bigger the Delta the bigger the load.
