there,s a vector of displacement-cycle peaks in this example.what does it mean?does it connect the peaks nodes together?

the page contains many examples. it probably means the analysis is using displacement control to go from determing the load factors required to go from imposing one prescribed displacement to the next (with possibly multiple incremenetal steps in between).
