calibration low cycle fatigue uriz

Post by jackmil »

hello dear vesna
i have modeled a three story- one bay frame that modeled with fatigue material developed by uriz and initial material steel02. it dosent work with this low cycle fatige script in drift capacity of cyclic analysis result available in nees projct .
is this due to the ratio of b to t? ( b/t)
should all bracing members be satisfied by the limitation of (b/t)=16?

Perhaps, it is true that the SCBF example posted on the site does not work for drifts higher than 1% or so. Since this problem is faced by many OpenSees users including myself, I request Vesna/fmk sirs to kindly share any remedy if they have. It would be quite useful for many researchers/scholars who are reporting similar problems with the SCBF model example posted.

Thanks and appreciating your valuable suggestions.
