soil modeling

Hi to all
Is there any order for using horizontal,vertical,bending,torsion spring for soil modeling in opensees?

no order. you create the materials and then specify the direction they act in the creation of the zeroLength. The directions correspond to 1,2,3,4,5,6 .. if 2d the directions x,y and theta z would be 1,2 and 6.
