mode shapes

Post by samcivil »

hello everybody
i have modeled a 3D 3-story building with 6 degrees of freedoms considerations.
i want to record mode shapes.but i can just get four first mode shapes, not more than them. i need fifth and above mode shapes, too.
what should i do?
thanks.

either you only have 5 modes or you have duplicate modes .. as 3d building, if symmetric you might have duplicates, try upping number of modes by 2 from what works.
