Draw Moment-Curvature Curve

Post by fderakhshan »

Hi
I've modeled a 2D 4-story frame.During a pushover analysis,I recorded the stressStrain of integration points of columns and found the location of first plastic hinge in element. Now I need to draw the Moment-Curvature curve of that plastic hinge. How can I do that? Is it right to use this recorder for example :
"recorder Element -file Deforforce_Ele1_Sec1.out -time -ele 1 section 1 forceAndDeformation "
?
And if it is right, what are the outputs Respectively?

"forceAndDeformation" is general. you must specify the content just like as axialforce.

So to record moment at that point, which word shall I use exactly?
and also to record rotation, which word shall I use exactly?
thanks for your reply

the outputs depend on what your section is and how you built it. switch -xml for -file to see what is in each column.

Dear fderakhshan
can you explain how you found the location of first plastic hinge?
if you have any file, if it possible please mail me sabir_lotfi@yahoo.com
