Component method (Eurocode 3, Moment-rotation)

Post by emora »

Dear all:

I’m starting my theses work, the subject is “Seismic behavior of semi-rigid frames” and I will be using OpenSees, I'm struggling so much trying to model semi-rigid connections, specifically an end plate in detail (bolts, flange in tension, web in shear and so on). I want to model an experiment and get the moment-rotation curve. Has someone done it before?

Thanks!

I have just seen how to model the panel zone, but nothing about the connection.
