I've some questions:
1.we should use ten segments along the length of the brace considering 1/1000 initial imperfection in middle,but Dr. Hsiao showed that the strain history of the brace fibers varying with the num. of the brace segments and based on influence of num of the brace segments on the maximum starin range that investigated for new proposed fracture material ,we should have used 16 segments along the brace length results in a tolerate error. plz guid me
