opensees 2.4 and temperature

hi

i want to use a opensees 2.4.0 to model a heated pipe. so i need to know that is steel02thermal material considering The Longitudinal expansion due to temperature rise? and can i use a Displacement control method to record temperature-displacement curve?

These are contributed materials that are new and we do not know much abut them. You should either look at the source code for the material you are interested in or try to contact the authors of the material.
