Dear All,
Yield line pattern prediction may come in many flavours, but the one that I'm interested is mainly on RC structures load transfering from slabs to girders.
Using the FEM triangular or quadrilateral shell elements I wish to know how the implementation can be performed ?
I also have introductory info about the YLP such as virtual work, equilibrium method but actually don't know how to combine that with existing triangular, quadrilateral shell elements.
Your entry point will be appreciated.
