High Rise Structures

Hey!
I want to model a high rise structure with outriggers and belt trusses for a an optimization using GA, I would like to know if opensees is a good choice or not?!!

If familiar with OpenSees you could do it.

What I mean is 3D optimization and I dont have any supercomputers so, suppose that I am analysing 70 story building is it possible? I mean after all OpenSees is the best option?

What i mean is the whole structure not only a frame. so imagine 100 floor structure and i am going to optimize it using GA. iterations are to many so is it possible? mostly i am in short of time and i want to make sure that OpenSees is the best choice.

I just got to know that optimization tool is about to be released within OpenSees. In a week or so I will have more information on this.

Hello!
As I said before i was looking forward to optimizing of high-rise structures using opensees and ofcourse the optimizing process using GA (algorithm) requires MAtlab too. so the problem is linking these too, and I would like to know the opensees will confirm the programing codes of MATLAB or not? because of the loops to choose the best answer you know.
