how to read the .out document into matlab?

Post by zhmkitten »

dear all,
I want use the eigenvector outputed by opensees in matlab to calculate the modal participate factor and some parameters. you know , I am doing the nonlinear analysis. so the stiffness is changing during the process, so is the eigenvector.
and then I want to input the parameter got from the matlab back to the opensees . the whole process just like the adaptive pushover.
thx all of your great help and attention!

you should just do it all in Tcl, then, it'd be a lot easier.
