Compiling Parallel version in Windows

Hello all,

I would like to have guidance on compiling the latest version (1.7.4) to work on a dual-core windows computer.

I saw on the website that MPI library should be used to compile for a parallel version in windows. However, how do I exactly go about it? How to get MPI library?

Any guidance will be much appreicated.
