Hinge rotation

I am using beam with hinges element. Here it is noted that
"The valid queries to a beamWithHinges element when creating an ElementRecorder (page 307)
object are 'force,' 'stiffness,' 'rotation' (hinge rotation), or 'section $secNum secArg1 secArg2...'
Where $secNum refers to the integration point whose data is to be output."

Can someone tell which argument I need to use in element recorder command to get the hinge rotation.

try rotation.
otherwise, integrate the curvature.

Hello amarnath!
This is Juan!
As you are using BeamWithHinge element, could you help me out please?
These are 2 doubts:
1. When defining the Hinge Length. Are these values always postive (+) or depend on the local axis?
2. When defining the Offsets in the Linear Transformation. In the explanations says "Absolute offsets..." but in the caption of Fig.56 says "check sign of dXi, etc component".... What does this exactly mean regarding the sign of that length?...What if I have a diagonal element, Do I have to input the projections over the global axis or what should I input then?

Hello Juan
I checked about the problem you had. Te offset lengths are to be defined with respect to global coordinate system keeping in mind the sign. The sign of offset will depend on the direction of offsets with respect to global coordinate system.
