I use pysimple1 as a material of zerolength element for modeling soil-pile interface. As we know, This material take the parameters like pult,y50 and soil type and create p-y curves.Then in the analysis process these curves will used to define the soil response.
My question is:
"how OpenSees is capable to create nonlinear p-y curves only by pult,y50 and soil type?!"
