Question about RC shear wall element (dispBeamColumnInt)?

Post by yones »

Dear all,

exact height of sher wall is defined by $iNode and $jNode in "dispBeamColumnInt" command ,and
exact thickness of the section is defined by " $thick1, $thick2, $thick3 " in "section FiberInt" command ,
but length of shear wall that defined by "fiber" command it seems is not exact, because
in "fiber" command we define CENTER of strips (not length of strips) in y,z coordinate.

How we define length of strips in fiber command ?

Can anyone help me to simulate exact length of RC shear wall ?

Thanks for your reply.

The width of each fiber (strip) is hidden in the definition of the area of the fiber.
