Brick8N Element

Hi all,

Has anybody used Brick8N element, developed by Prof. Boris Jeremic? Using this type of element with different sizes in a mesh results in some wrong results, but interestingly using equal size of these elements in a mesh leads to the correct results. Do yo have any idea?

why can't you use the standard brick element?

I want to use the material properties developed by Prof. Jeremic (i.e. Dafalias and Manzari, 2004) Constitutive model.
