Hardening Material

Post by gfermandois »

I was reading about the Hardening Material, and the references are nowhere. I want to know where are the references to this material, so I can better understand its behavior. Thanks!

a publication on this material may have never been written.
I'd recommend you look at the source code for it to understand how it works.

I have a conceptual question. The Bauschinger Effect in steel is derived from isotropic hardening, kinematic hardening, or both? Is sufficient to represent a steel section with the isotropic hardening properties available in Steel02 Material? My final purpose is to model a Buckling Restrained Brace, including the Fatigue Material to take into account damage of the brace. Thanks!
