Problem to Eccentric Steel Brace Modeling ?

hello ,
I want to model eccentric steel brace frame.
This model is one story - one bay Frame and shape of brace is inverted V with 2 metre eccentric :

I have a question :
in connections of braces to beam :
Should be split beam into 3 pieces Or NOT ? (if yes, What is relation between connection nodes?)

if you have a node along your element you need to split your element at that node.
