Hi everyone,
When I run an analysis on a 3D model, I get a warning such as 'no torsion detected in sections, continuing with element torsional stiffness GJ/L". Anyhow, finishes the analysis with seemingly good results. Can anyone help me about the reason and/or meaning of the warning about torsion?
Thank you in advance.

Re: no torsion detected
When defining a 3D section it is expected from a user to define a torsion in the section. In case the user does not do it, Opensees assigns GJ/L to torsional degree of freedom when creating stiffness matrix of an element.
