OpenSeesSP 2.2.2 - actor error
Posted: Mon Dec 27, 2010 3:43 pm
I cannot manage to get OpenSeesSP 2.2.2 to work. I have tried running different models including
/EXAMPLES/TeraGridExamples/Example1.tcl. The outcome is the same every time; it seems that
it cannot invoke the actor objects. I checked whether MPI was working with cpi.exe and it looked
like everything is doing what is supposed to. Also note that when I run Example1.tcl in OpenSeesSP
2.1.0 I encounter no problems. Below is the error message I get when I try to run the models in
OpenSeesSP 2.2.2 :
>>mpiexec -mapall -localonly 2 OpenSeesSP.exe Example1.tcl
Master Process Running OpenSees Interpreter 0
OpenSees -- Open System For Earthquake Engineering Simulation
Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center -- 2.2.2

Slave Process Running 1
FEM_ObjectBrokerAllClasses::getNewActor - - no ActorType type exists for class tag 1
MachineBroker::run(void) - invalid actor type
MachineBroker::startActor() - could not start actorType: 1
If I could get some help to get on track to figure out what I am doing wrong I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much,
Maurizio
