Shear key model
To represent the behavior of shear key, I want to use Coloumb friction model. This model has initial gap and after yielding, hardening factor is zero. This is Hardening model with initial gap. How do I use this model in OpenSees.
Check Elastic-Perfectly Plastic Gap Material:

vesna,
Elastic-perfectly plastic gap material only provides the response of one direction (positive or negative hysteresis). But, my material model has negative and positive yielding, not zero force at the last point of unloading. In other words, the force decreases with reducing displacement until negative yielding after the curve passes throungh zero force when unloading. Is there any way...?

I think you will be able to create the material you need by combining Elastic-perfectly plastic gap material and ElasticPP material using Series Materail:
