Bug of reliability about truss element

Post by jtmretop »

i everyone
There is a bug in the opensees reliability project.i am tring to run the reliability analysis about truss elements,i build two performanceFunctions:
performanceFunction 1 "{x_707} - {rec_element_165_localForce_1}"
performanceFunction 2 "{x_708} - {rec_element_165_localForce}"
First,i find the reliability analysis can't run in the newer version opensees (2.1.0,2.2.0),i can't find the new manual of reliability command format about the new versions,so i run the reliability analysis in the version 2.0.0(or below 2.0.0), but found the performanceFunction 1#,2# can't be ran;if i set the performanceFunction like this:
performanceFunction 1 "{x_708} - {rec_element_165_forces_1}"
performanceFunction 2 "{x_709} - {rec_element_165_forces}"
the reliability analysis can be ran,but obviously, the truss force results which obtained by the {rec_element_165_forces_1} or {rec_element_165_forces} are wrong,it seems the "rec_element_" command about truss element can't get the force of truss elements accurately,in other words, the command can't get the truss force.(But the reliability analysis about beam element are working good by using any performanceFunction command as described above).
Further more:why i can't run the reliability in the new version opensees(such as 2.2.1,2.2.0,2.1,0)? when the the new manual of reliability command format about the new versions will be released?
ThanX !
