Arc-Length Control is StaticIntegrator??

Post by BLJ »

Hello,

Is Arc-Length integrator a StaticIntegrator? Does this mean that it can only be used in static analysis? When I used it in transit anaysis, I got "WARNING analysis Transient dt tFinal - no Integrator specified,
Newmark(.5,.25) default will be used".

Thank you all.

the solution for the snap through problem is treated as a static analysis problem .. suggest you look at the literature.
