Parallel Processing on Windows

Post by hachem »

Frank,

Can you please comment on the possibility of running Opensees in parallel mode on a cluster of Windows machines?
My understanding is that parallel processing is currently limited to Unix/Linux.

Thanks,

to run in parallel will require MPI .. if that is avail on your cluster then it is possible that
a parallel version (not yet released in all it's glory!) could be compiled & run.
