concentated dampers

Post by giacomodemarie »

Hi all!

How can apply a concentrated viscous damper to a certain dof?
I only know how to define Rayleigh viscous damping.

Thanks!!!

use a zero-length element with the appropriate materials.
you can also define a region of such elements and then assign damping to that region.
