Fiber Sections Torsion

Post by Luisa »

Hi everybody,

Is it true that 3D fiber sections which are built in opensees cannot consider torsional behavior? Should we necessarily use "section aggregator" and define a line with slope "GJ" as the section torsional behavior, and assign it to the fiber section?
Thanks a lot for your kind help.

There is a -GJ option available for this (so that you do not have to use aggregator). It's been there for years, but I only updated the wiki yesterday :)
