Energy Based Damage

All,

I am trying to model the cyclic response of some steel members using fiber sections and want to include damage in the member. I was looking at the uniaxialMaterial Fatigue that calculates the damage index based on the number of cycles.

I want to model damage based on the dissipated energy (like it is done within the pinching4 material) but I don't know if there is such material similar to the fatigue model.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this or any suggestions on how to achieve this?
