Memory issue

Post by aarenas »

Hi all,

I want to run a large soil 3D model in OS, but I want to stay in Windows environment. The current version of OS is 32bit, and allows about 40,000 elements before it runs out of memory. I want to run about 800,000. I alreay did it in Flac3D.

If I compile OS in 64bit, would it increase the memory capacity? If not, what are my options? Parallel?

Thanks
