Can anybody explain to me what exactly the "corrotational truss" is?
What are the degrees of freedom that this element has?
Thanks!

It is the truss that accounts for geometric nonlinearity.

DOFs of the corrotational truss are the same as that of truss element, but is includes geometric stiffness, which
establish the equilibrium function in the deformed position, since the deformed position is the condition with
element cord rotate, it's called "corrotatioanl".
