Semi Rigid Connections

Post by farshid2010 »

Hi!
I would like to know whether it is possible to model semi rigid connections or not?
If so, is the "spring2dmodelKModel" good choice?
And when we are performing a linear analysis is this a wise choice?
Thanks !

Yes, you can model semi-rigid connections in OpenSees.

Where did you find "spring2dmodelKModel"?

Hey! Did you succeed modeling Semi-rigid connections? I'm trying to get the moment-rotation curve of a connection but I have no idea of how to do it.

Regards
