How to apply an uniform load?

Post by mattroidena1 »

Hello everyone!
I want to model a 3D beam as the figure below, but I don't know how to apply a uniform load along y-direction like that. Does any one know how to do that? Please help me.
Thank you very much in advance!

What element are you using to model the beam?

Dear Vesna,
I used the element type "bbarBrick" with block3D to model this beam. So that at the loading point, I don't know how to create an element to use the command -eleLoad.

Element loads using -eleLoad command can only be applied on line elements.
