leaning column for PDelta effect

Post by a.salmanpour »

Hi
I want to model a frame with a leaning column for P Delta effect. Which type has
less converge problem, 1- use equal dof 2- use rigid link or 3- use a very stiff elastic truss element?
if I use equal DOF, Can I use RCM numberer?

Thanks

all very good questions, i think the equaldof command might work better.
i am just going to get to this problem, so if anyone has insight, it'd be great.
