Post by pallavi »

Dear All...........

Working on OpenSees is a Nice experience, But i m facing one problem that is.........
For carrying out simulations of big structures like bridges and multistoryed buildings, the Modeling is quite difficult.........
Is there any method or software so that we can easily model such kind of structures.

Hi,
there are some applications avaible to simplify the modeling phase, in particular pre- and post-processors wich should allow you to input simplier your model and read analysis'results.

I've never used anyone of these applications, so I can't suggest you any name, but you can find some information exploring this website and other topics. Anyway, at a glance my impression wasn't so good about some of these software I tried to test.

ps: I don't want to bother you, but I think this section of the forum it's not the best for this tiopic :)

bye
