base isolation

have any body modeled a LRB base isolated structure in opensees?
please inform me how can i model it

In 2D I modeled it using zero-lenght element and SteelMP material (http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... P_Material) assigned to it.

For 3D, you will have to write a new element to extend it.

I didn't try for a LRB base in opensees. If any one of you can share how you tried that to working, I can give it a try and write you guys back. I had an idea of this earlier but due to some other reasons we gave up. I really like to start that again.
