OpenSees Installation

Dear Dr. Silvia:

I am a beginner to OpenSees. I am having a problem while installing tcl/tk 8.4.6 in to my laptop which has windows vista. I changed C:\tcl. to "C:\Program Files\Tcl" . However, whlie installation it says "error coping". When I start OpenSees, it gives an error message, "Cannot find tcl84.dll". I reinstalled tcl/tk 8.4.6 and tried but still same thing is happening.
Is it possible to install tcl/tk 8.4.6 and OpenSees in windows vista. How can I proceed?

You have to install tcl/tk first or else the opensees program will not work. may be the tcl program is not downloaded properly. try downloading it again. I have installed this version of tcl on windows vista without any problems.
