Hello,
Has anyone had any luck imposing an actual ultimate fracture strain on reinforcing steel? Or at least a strain at which the stress in the steel falls to zero?
I am trying to accurately model the post-peak response of reinforced concrete structural walls; bar fracture (or zero stress) is necessary to represent post-peak response, specifically for tension-controlled walls.
Thanks!

You can achieve it by using MinMax material: http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... x_Material
