Modeling Modified Takeda Hysteresis Rule (Fat Takeda)

Post by e.izadi »

Dear Vesna,
I have a problem with modeling a nonlinear spring with Modified-Takeda hystersis rule. In this regard, I have modeled the spring using zerolength element . Unfortunately, as far as I know !!, existing hysteretic uniaxial material in OpenSees does not consistent with Modified-Takeda hystersis rules specially FAT-Takeda . I also had a comprehensive review of different types of material such as clough, bilin and so on for this purpose. Is there any script or material model in OpenSees which is consistent for modeling Modified-Takeda hystersis rules?

Sincerely yours.
